Reclaim CO2 heat pumps use natural CO2 (carbon dioxide) as the refrigerant, instead of the synthetic refrigerants most heat pumps rely on. CO2 has excellent thermodynamic properties — it transfers heat very efficiently, which is part of why Reclaim systems can deliver up to 80% energy savings compared to a standard electric hot water system.

Does a Reclaim heat pump work in cold Geelong winters?+

Three phase solar system just installed. Staff (Admin and installers) at Velocity solar were very prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. Being a registered building inspector I was amazed to see the electrician (John) use a spirit level to install the solar inverter and mounting board on the shed. Very happy I used Brad Ott and the team at Velocity Solar. I now have my new 3 phase, 40 kWh battery and extra solar panels added. The battery installation went smoothly and those I spoke with over the process were professional and knowledgeable. There was some delay waiting for the install due to import issues with Trumps tariff sage but communications outlining issues were helpful in understanding timelines. Logan and Brady were great and the wiring and final set up is neat and well contained.

We have just had Sigen battery and REC panels installed. We chose Velocity Solar because we had PV installed by them 11 years ago and knew they were not a fly by night operator. Luke took care of the design work and it has turned out really well. The economics were right to replace the old panels and the new REC panels look great. Velocity Solar handled all the rebate applications particularly well. The 32 kwh Sigen battery has capacity for all our needs and was a great price with the rebates. Logan, Bailey, Bodan, Tommy and the rest of the crew were a pleasure to have around the place, the finished job is very tidy and all completed in 3 days. Very happy with the result.
