Tesla Powerwall Rebate Eligibility

Order and Registration

Order Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion between November 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.

Orders must be placed through a Tesla Certified Installer – which we are.

Installation and Connection

Have your Powerwall(s) installed, connected and registered between January 1, 2026, and September 30, 2026.

Submit the rebate request through the rebate portal by September 30, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I earn and claim the rebate?

To qualify, you’ll need to order a Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion from a Tesla Certified Installer between 6 November 2025 and 31 March 2026.

After placing your order, register it through the rebate portal before 31 March 2026.

Your Powerwall(s) must then be installed, connected and registered between 1 January 2026 and 30 September 2026.

Once installation is complete, submit your rebate request through the portal by 30 September 2026.
After your submission is reviewed and confirmed, your rebate will be issued within 30 business days.

Note: Tesla may decline rebate applications for customers not in good standing.

How do I register for the rebate?

Once you’ve ordered your Powerwall 3, go to the rebate portal and select ‘Register my Rebate’.

You’ll be asked to upload your purchase order or contract and confirm your contact details.
All registrations must be completed by 31 March 2026.

After your Powerwall(s) have been installed and connected, you’ll return to the portal to complete the final submission step.

I’ve already registered and my Powerwall(s) are installed. How do I submit the final request?

After installation is complete and your system is online, sign back into the rebate portal using your original registration details.

You’ll then upload the required validation documents and submit the rebate request.

How will I receive my rebate?

Once your rebate request is approved, you’ll receive a Virtual Visa® Reward Card by email.

How long does it take to receive the rebate?

Allow up to eight weeks from the date your rebate is approved for your Virtual Visa® Reward Card to arrive.

Can I submit the rebate request through the Tesla app?

No. This rebate must be submitted through the dedicated rebate portal.

Who needs to provide the information in the rebate portal?

The customer who is eligible for the rebate must submit all required details, including installation information, the address, and the Gateway serial number.

I recently installed a Powerwall. Can I still receive this rebate?

Only Powerwall(s) ordered and registered between 6 November 2025 and 31 March 2026, and installed and connected between 1 January 2026 and 30 September 2026, qualify for the rebate.
If your system was installed outside these dates, it isn’t eligible.

My Powerwall is connected to the internet. How do I register it?

After installation, download the Tesla app.

Open the app, add your Powerwall, and follow the prompts to complete the registration.

Tesla provides step-by-step guidance inside the app to help you connect and register your system.

What happens if my installation is delayed past 30 September 2026?

Installations completed after 30 September 2026 will not qualify for the rebate.

Your Powerwall(s) must be installed, connected, and online by this date.

Can this rebate be combined with other offers?

Yes. This rebate can be used alongside other eligible incentives, including local programs and the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, depending on your situation.
