How the price guide works

Answer a few questions about your home, your power bill and what you want from solar, and the tool sizes a system for you and shows a smaller and a larger option beside it. Prices are built from the same panels, inverters, batteries and install costs we quote with every day, so the figure you see is a realistic Geelong price, not a national average.

Federal and Victorian rebates are taken off automatically. The federal battery discount shown is for batteries installed before 31 December 2026; it steps down on 1 January 2027, so we show both.

Nothing is final until one of our designers has looked at your roof and switchboard. The guide gets you within range in five minutes; the site visit gets you an exact quote.

Questions people ask before they start

How accurate is the price?

Usually within a few hundred dollars of the written quote. The things that move it are roof type and pitch, a double-storey install, switchboard work and how far the inverter sits from the board. The tool asks about the first three; we check the rest on site.

Which rebates are included?

The federal solar certificate discount (STCs), the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount on usable battery capacity, and the Solar Victoria $1,400 panel rebate for eligible owner-occupiers (combined household income under $150,000 for applications after 30 June 2026). The tool asks the eligibility questions and only applies what you qualify for.

Do I have to give my details?

You can see the three options and prices without entering anything. Your email and phone are only needed if you want the comparison sent to you or want us to follow up. We do not add you to marketing emails unless you tick that box.
