Great service with Solar and Battery install. I would recommend Velocity Solar too anybody

Excellent service from the Velocity team!

Velocity Solar were excellent, very thorough and kindly and respectfully answered my (sometimes stupid!!) questions.

I have recommended them to several people, and used them originally because I was recommended to them by someone who was extremely "picky" and gave them a glowing and well deserved recommendation, from the office girls to the cheerful installers.

Well done Velocity Solar and thank you!!!

A professional installation. Timely and friendly staff

The team from Velocity were fantastic to work with. During the consultation they totally changed our perspective of what we were trying to achieve long term with our battery and solar set up and were wrapped with how well it all works. The support with any queries that we’ve had since install has been exceptional too.

The battery installation went smoothly and those I spoke with over the process were professional and knowledgeable. There was some delay waiting for the install due to import issues with Trumps tariff sage but communications outlining issues were helpful in understanding timelines. Logan and Brady were great and the wiring and final set up is neat and well contained.

I had a brilliant experience with Velocity Solar from start to finish. The quoting process was very detailed and explained in layperson terms for people like me who think electricity is magic. The crew that completed the works kept us updated as they were working, and were always polite and very informative. After the works they took time to run us through the various bits and bobs they had added to our solar network. Would 100% recommend!

Just had our solar panels and battery installed by the team at velocity solar. From the initial quoting to the finished installation the team at velocity has been a great experience. Hayden and his install team were friendly and were happy to answer all my questions, Hayden even made the time to comeback 2 weeks later to go through the system with me as I was not around when the system was commissioned. The finished job was of an excellent standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending velocity solar to my family and friends.

Velocity Solar has now installed both solar and batteries at our home, with their service and communication being excellent from quote to completion. With the current rush to get batteries installed, I really wanted to avoid any issues of going with a less reputable installer and was happy I went with Luke and the team at Velocity as the process was pain free and professional.

Absolutely outstanding service! When a small issue occurred after a routine solar panel service (a tile was accidentally left off the roof), that caused water damage after some storms, Velocity Solar handled it with complete professionalism and care. They responded quickly, communicated clearly, and resolved everything in an incredibly timely manner.

What really impressed me was the grace and integrity they showed throughout the process, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a positive experience. It’s rare to find a company that stands behind its work like this. I look forward to the journey of installing the solar battery.

Highly recommend Velocity Solar for anyone looking for reliable, honest, and exceptional service!

We have used Velocity Solar twice in the last 2 years. Firstly, to install our 17kW solar system and Fronius inverters in August 2023, and then more recently to install a SigenStor 40kWh Battery and EV AC charging port in October 2025. In all our interactions they have been super professional as they educated us on our options and the implications of our choices, they then turned up on time and were very respectful of our new home as their team worked to install the system, clean up afterwards and show us how it all worked. They have also been very helpful in supporting our continuing education after the purchase as we worked to put our system on to the Amber network.

All in all, I can thoroughly recommend them. A+ Service!

First I contacted them about solar panels which were installed in 2024. Then when the government rebate came in I went for a battery. At each step along the way, Velocity Solar staff have been full of clear information, and the backup is great when I have been unclear on anything to do with the product or procedure. I value that contact so much. It’s all been smooth, reasonably priced, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend them, and have done so to friends who are also having a battery installed now.

My family and I are very happy with the process, service and installation of our off grid Velocity solar system. They are knowledgeable of their products, were accomodating with our installation hold ups and very efficient. We have the install in our shed and it is very neat and compact. I would highly recommend Velocity to anyone who is considering solar power.

Velocity Solar were great with the installation of our solar battery. The process was quick, done efficiently and tidied up nicely. And the battery works great. The whole process went well. I’m glad we chose a local company. I am confident to recommend them.

Local, professional, knowledgeable, accessible, competent – a pleasure to work with. And they were competitive.

Very helpful and easy to deal with before and after the installation. I was extremely satisfied with the installation and workmanship.

Professional and timely service to do a neat installation of battery to our solar panel system.

Great customer service, courteous always available. Could not recommend them more highly. Our system is up and running exceeding our expectations. Thank you

We are very pleased to have worked with Velocity Solar to install our Solar system, Battery and Car charger. The team understood our requirements and exceeded our expectations.

Luke from Sales and Marketing took the time to determine our installation details, met on site to discuss our needs and updated our quote based on our conversations.

Brad (Business Owner), Tim and the installation team did an amazing job. Maximising the number of panels installed on the available roof area, installing connecting cables neatly in the roof, cable duct and behind the weatherboards. The Battery and Car charger installation was just perfect. Installing the fire protection to a high standard and permitting me to paint behind the equipment prior to its installation.

Installation was booked prior to Christmas and the team confirmed if they could commence the installation earlier than scheduled – resulting in the system being operational ahead of schedule. Brad took the time to run us through system operation and connection to the internet, which was very appreciated.

Emily and Danielle from the Office arranged the safety inspection and the update to our smart meter by our power distributor, and took care of all the administration details. Very easy.

I would highly recommend the team at Velocity Solar, they made everything very easy and the quality of work was outstanding. We are very pleased with the system performance. Thanks to all the team at Velocity Solar.

Velocity solar installed batteries in our house with existing solar system. The team arrived on time, answered questions and were very pleasant to deal with. Job completed in 3 days and system works exactly as quoted. Many thanks to Brad and the team for a job well done.

P.S At another time they helped us sort out pigeon problems with our solar panels. A difficult job but excellent result.

Velocity Solar were professional to deal with from the outset. Follow up was prompt, appointment times were kept, and information was clear. The installation was neat and the installers were a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with Velocity Solar! We have a very steep roof (45 degree pitch), and 5 other solar companies had turned us down before we finally got in touch with Velocity Solar – I only wish we had known about them sooner.

Luke was very thorough during the initial consultation and quotation process. He provided several options for system sizes and configurations to meet our objectives and budget, and gave us confidence in the system we ultimately decided to proceed with. The owner also visited our house well before the installation was booked in, to confirm any complexities with the install (due to the pitch of the roof) could be considered well in advance. As a result, the entire installation process was very smooth and everyone we dealt with along the way was lovely.

I would highly recommend Velocity Solar to anyone looking to add a solar system to their home!

Excellent customer service, for example lending me a hot water service until the new best pump one could be installed. The assistance with the process to get the government subsidies was very patient as I was slow to get it done. The tradies turned up on the expected dates and did the work efficiently and tidily. They helped me install the app to keep an eye on the panels electricity production. The whole operation was very professional.

Velocity Solar put 17 solar panels on our roof at the end of February. I've never had so much fun checking a phone app - showing the panels' utilization at different times of the day. The data explaining how much CO2 emissions we are saving is good to read. And we have so far 'driven' over 1500kms in our imaginary solar powered car! One day... Even on very cloudy days the panels are generating some power. The installers were very competent and friendly - they were up on the roof one day when it was a sweltering 39c! Velocity Solar were recommended to me by a trusted friend and I am very happy to pass on that recommendation to anyone contemplating joinig the solar revolution. Thanks Luke and company.

A smooth and professional experience every step of the way. David took the time to understand our needs, explain how everything works, and help us compare the options so that we felt able to make the right decision. The installation team were professional and took care in their work. We are really happy with the products and the entire process, and highly recommend Velocity as a company that really cares about quality and customer service.

This a great team. Luke provided great support through the sales process and was very accommodating to my particular needs and expectations with our new build. The support staff were always keeping us in the loop with lead times and progress. Then the lads installing on site were also professional, good to deal with, left no mess and did a very tidy job. Thank you Velocity!

The team at Velocity Solar are amazing, can’t recommend them enough. Our first interactions with David during the consulting phase were great. David really sat with us and took the time to go through all of our options and make sure we had a solid understanding of how the solar panels work. David also worked with us to ensure the system we got was both what we needed and within our budget. The team that installed the systems were friendly and thorough. A great local small business that we were thrilled to support!

Excellent service: sales listened to what I wanted and made useful suggestions, communication was great, and the installation crew were outstanding - you wouldn't know they had been on site if it wasn't for the panels on the roof! Highly recommended - when batteries are affordable I'll be giving Velocity a call.

It’s been a very economical cost saving venture that assists our club’s cashflow. It’s a win/win for the environment and allows us to put savings towards other projects. We have a large clubroom / function centre, so savings are significant, in providing cost offset.

Equipment was only installed last Thursday (21st June) so no knowledge of any operable benefits yet, but was pleased with the credibility of the people at Velocity Solar, and the better appearance of the completed installation compared with a close neighbour (a different supplier). Am looking forward to the finalisation of the link with Powercor through my retailer (Origin), and the subsequent improvement in my power bills.

I had contacted Brad about solar installation but when I didn't hear from him I decided to go with another installer. When Brad replied he offered to help me choose the right panels and took the time to review all the information I emailed him regarding the offer I had from the other installer. It was very much appreciated since I was really confused with all the different information I had received. Brad didn't even try to make me change my mind to get the work for himself, he just gave me his advice. Thank you so much Brad for all your help and making my decision so much easier.

Without a doubt Brad is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever done business with. Once you meet Brad you can tell he is down to earth and when he makes a commitment he stick to his word.

Install went smoothly and very professionally. Post install communication very good as well. Highly recommend.

I liked how the initial consult focused on available choices of panels and inverters etc and was very constructive. I had the chance to research my choices before settling on my system's composition. The installation itself was very quick and no fuss.

Craig - Mortlake.

I recently had a 13.2 Kw solar system installed by Brad and his team, timely, efficient, quality and professional best describes how I found the Velocity team. Highly recommend this team to deliver on what they promise!

Efficient and neat installation by Brad and his team in February 2018. The follow-up paperwork was done without fuss. The initial contact and quote procedure by Eric was low-pressure and always respectful of our needs and wishes - and we ended up with a great system.

Brad and his team have been amazing to deal with. Paul listened to our requests and was very forthcoming explaining everything to us. The install crew were awesome guys and it was a huge relief to experience the professionalism of all concerned. Would have no hesitations whatsoever in recommending Velocity Solar to anyone looking at getting a solar system installed.

Highly Recommend Brad and his team at Velocity Solar. We had an 8KW system installed by Velocity even though we had a couple of other cheaper quotes. We met Brad on site, after we had seen another company earlier and WOW the difference in knowledge and no bull professionalism was instantly noticeable.

We expressed concern at limitations in our area for Solar connections back to the grid and Brad immediately went back to his van, grabbed his laptop and checked the Powercor website advising us there and then we would be allowed access, submitted an application on our behalf for pre-approval, not listing Velocity as the installer stating we had the option to go with whoever we wanted. Brad when outlining available options walked around the property and then advised us of the best roof layout to get the most benefit from an 8KW Solar System. That’s service!!

The installation crew were also great guys to deal with which as another review said “Was a huge relief”. Brad sometimes takes a day or so longer than most would expect to reply to an online enquiry however you are always able to call him. If his phone goes to answer he always returns a call with straight forward no nonsense information and offers to jump in and help if things are looking a little daunting with energy suppliers. We are thinking of a battery addition somewhere down the track and will have no hesitation in contacting Brad again.
