Jan Juc: SigenStor 32.2 kWh battery added to existing solar (March 2026)
A 32.2 kWh Sigenergy SigenStor battery added to an existing solar system in Jan Juc, with five months of measured results.
Location: Jan Juc, Surf Coast
Switched on: March 2026
System: 32.2 kWh Sigenergy SigenStor battery (three-phase) added to an existing solar system
A local homeowner in Jan Juc already had solar panels on the roof. Our team added a 32.2 kWh Sigenergy SigenStor battery with a three-phase SigenStor inverter, and kept the existing solar system in place.
The battery was switched on in March 2026. The SigenStor system also measures the output of the existing solar, so both appear in the results below.

What the homeowner wanted
Battery storage added to the solar system they already had, so more of their own energy could be used in the home.
What we installed
- Sigenergy SigenStor EC 20.0 TP 20 kW three-phase hybrid inverter
- SigenStor battery: 4 x 8.06 kWh modules, 32.2 kWh in total
- Existing solar system kept and connected for monitoring
- Installed by our team: installed by our installation team.
The cables were run through the subfloor, which needed extra cabling to reach the battery location.

Results so far
From 1 May to 30 September 2026 the battery discharged 3,933 kWh into the home. Over the same five months the existing solar system produced 2,271 kWh, as measured by the SigenStor system.
