Can batteries be retrofitted to an existing solar system?

Yes. Most existing solar systems can have a battery added. If your current inverter can’t charge a battery, we fit an AC-coupled battery that works alongside it, or replace the old inverter with a hybrid inverter that runs both. We install Sigenergy SigenStor, Tesla Powerwall 3, GoodWe and Fronius Reserva. Added batteries qualify for the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate, and we take it off the price up front.
