Real solar and battery case studies from around Geelong
Updated 18 October 2026
Every one of these systems was designed and installed by our own in-house crews — no subcontractors. Where a system has monitoring (Sigenergy, Tesla, GoodWe, Fronius or Enphase), the results come straight from it. Each case study shows when the system was installed. They give you a real feel for what a well-sized solar and battery system does across Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast.

More SigenStor systems around the region
Here are more real SigenStor jobs designed and installed by our own in-house crews, with generation figures straight from the SigEnergy monitoring on each home.
Moolap
A local homeowner in Moolap went with a 21kW solar system paired with a 48.4kWh SigenStor battery (6 modules), connected in September 2025. In its first year the system generated around 25,800kWh — plenty of daytime solar to run the home and charge the battery for use after dark.
Highton (19.74kW system)
For a local homeowner in Highton we installed a 19.74kW solar system with a 40.3kWh SigenStor battery (5 modules), connected in July 2025. (This is a different Highton home from the 20.7kW system on our SigenStor page.) In its first year it generated roughly 22,700kWh, giving the household strong solar cover through the day and stored energy for the evening peak.
Torquay
A local homeowner in Torquay chose a right-sized 9.98kW solar system with a 32.2kWh SigenStor battery (4 modules), connected in October 2025, generating about 11,500kWh in its first 11 months. A great example of a compact set-up matched carefully to the home's needs.
Belmont — our biggest SigenStor battery yet
A local homeowner in Belmont paired a 15.9kW solar system with an 88.7kWh SigenStor battery across 11 modules — the largest home battery we’ve installed to date. Connected in March 2025, in its first year the system generated around 16,600kWh, with enough storage to ride through several cloudy days in a row.
Batesford
For a local homeowner in Batesford we installed a 15.2kW solar system with a 24.2kWh SigenStor battery (3 modules), connected in September 2025, generating around 17,700kWh in its first year — a well-matched set-up for the area.
Barwon Heads
A local homeowner in Barwon Heads went with a 23.5kW solar system paired with a 40.3kWh SigenStor battery (5 modules), connected in September 2025. In its first year the system generated around 22,600kWh — strong daytime solar with plenty of storage for the evening.
Winchelsea
For a local homeowner in Winchelsea we installed a 15.2kW solar system with a 40.3kWh SigenStor battery (5 modules), connected in October 2025, producing roughly 18,500kWh in its first year — a well-matched set-up for a rural block.
Ocean Grove
A local homeowner in Ocean Grove chose a 14.52kW solar system with a 40.3kWh SigenStor battery (5 modules), connected in October 2025, generating about 15,700kWh over the last 12 months — solar cover through the day and stored energy for the peak.

Questions about these case studies
Are these real homes?
Yes. Every system on this page is a real home in the Geelong region, designed and installed by our own crews. We name only the suburb, to protect the owners’ privacy.
Where do the figures come from?
From each system’s own monitoring (Sigenergy, Tesla or GoodWe), which records what the system actually generates. They are measured results, not estimates, and we round some of them to make them easier to read.
Can I see a system like mine?
Start with the list above: each case study gives the suburb, solar size and battery, so you can find a home like yours. Or call us on (03) 5243 8364, tell us about your home, and we will point you to the closest examples.
Why do some results cover less than a year?
Some systems were connected recently, so their monitoring has not run a full year yet. We show what has been recorded so far. Each one gives the month the system was connected, so you can see how long its figures cover.
